After many successful editions in different locations, we are now organizing our first Silent Discernment Retreat for young people in Hanceville, Alabama.
This retreat is designed for young men and women, ages 18 and above, who wish to listen to God’s voice and discern His plan for their lives. Choosing our vocation is the most important decision we will ever make, and we want to ensure we get it right.
The retreat is based on the Spiritual Exercises of St. Ignatius of Loyola, a time-tested method that has borne countless fruits of holiness over the last five centuries of Church history. It will be conducted by Fr. Juan Miguel Corral Cano, S.T.D., who will present the meditations to the group and be available for personal conversations throughout the retreat.
The retreat dates are:
March 9-12 for men
April 4-6 for women
The venue will be the Shrine of the Most Blessed Sacrament in Hanceville, Alabama. The suggested donation for the retreat is $50. However, if you are not a student and have a source of income, we kindly ask you to consider offering up to $150 to help cover the full cost of the retreat.
Participants are responsible for providing their own transportation to the retreat location, either by using their personal vehicles or organizing carpooling arrangements.
